Chain Link Countdown

We were so excited for Jaylee's arrival that we made a pink chain of paper links to tear off each night.

 It is amazing how little things like this get me so excited! I would look forward to tearing one off every other day between the days Griffin would tear one off! Just like elementary school excitement again...

 Eventually we added the calendar with everyone's guesses of when Jaylee would come. Her due date was Friday March 9th. And this is how it ended...two links were left on the chain when we rushed off to the hospital on the evening of March 7th.

And she was born early early morning March 8th...making Merilee and my old roommate Miranda the winners. Jaylee sent them little Jamba Juice giftcards for knowing when she'd arrive. :)
