So this lovely obstacle course is what we and our neighbors gets to face every time we go in or out of our apartment complex. We weren't kidding when we said we live in the ghetto...

And seriously this ice is thicker than its ever been. The past few years it has actually snowed, unlike this year. So usually there are snow layers in between the ice layers to help break up the ice that forms at night when its super cold. But this year there is a leak somewhere and as you can see the drainpipe lets it fall right onto our walking path...Combine that with no snow and the end product is an iceskating rink...hence we're thinking of investing in some iceskates if the ice path continues to grow jk. :)
